Brazil — Sul de Minas Specialty Arabica
A smooth, inviting Brazilian coffee with notes of tangerine and chocolate, a delicate body, and a clean finish.
Sourced from producers in Sul de Minas, Brazil, this specialty-grade Arabica is grown at 950–1,100 meters above sea level, on farms ranging from 10 to 150 hectares. Its varietal selection includes Mundo Novo, Catuaí, Icatu, and Bourbon, bringing together established varieties of Brazilian coffee cultivation.
In the cup, medium acidity provides a pleasant citrus brightness, complemented by chocolate notes and a gentle mouthfeel. The clean finish lets these flavors linger without overwhelming the palate—a welcoming choice for those who enjoy a lighter texture with distinct flavor.
The coffee is naturally processed: the cherries dry whole before the dried fruit layers are removed. Its SSFC designation—Strictly Soft, Fine Cup—describes a smooth, clean cup profile, while screen size 17/18 identifies the relatively large green beans selected for this lot.
Tasting notes describe the coffee’s sensory character, not added ingredients.
